Saving Stellas

In 2021 The Stella Class became aware that each year a number of Stellas were at risk of being destroyed, depleting the surviving numbe4 of boats by 2-3 per year. It was decided to offer to collect these boats to be stored at Suffolk yacht Harbour who kindly agreed to store them for no charge until new owners were found. The Class funded the expenses for transportation.

To date 9 Stellas have been collected from around the country and 4 have been taken on by new owners. There are 5 boats stored at Suffolk Yacht Harbour to whom we owe a debt of gratitude for their support .
